- Not a 501(c)(3). Autism Acceptance World is a PBC — for-profit with public benefit purpose, can take investment, no charitable deduction for supporters.
- Not an ABA referral source. Autism Acceptance World does not promote, refer to, or partner with ABA providers.
- Not a cure organization. Autism Acceptance World does not advance recovery framing, cure narratives, or pity framing.
- Not a parent-led organization. Autism Acceptance World is autistic-led — founder, operators, content team are autistic.
The Las Vegas play center
Targeted opening: 18-24 months from PBC formation. Henderson, Summerlin, or Spring Valley most likely. ~10,000 square feet. Indoor sensory-friendly play floor, dedicated quiet retreat space, family café, parent respite zone, and partner programming spaces. Built specifically for autistic children and the families raising them.
The tools
16 free tools currently live at autismacceptance.world/tools — letter-to-editor generator, IEP prep, insurance appeal generator (with ICD codes and case-law citations), police safety card, adult diagnosis pathway, and more. No email gate, no paywall.
The resources
27 long-form articles on parenting, autistic adult experience, education, legal rights, health, daily life. Written and reviewed by autistic adults. Identity-first language throughout.
The pledge model
5 lanes, 17 tiers. Family pledges and memberships ($0-$10K/yr) are prepaid consumer transactions held in escrow until opening. Business sponsorships ($5K-$100K) are commercial B2B transactions with bundled marketing services. Major investor lane (up to 33% Class B equity) is Reg D 506(c) accredited-only, gated behind a separate inquiry page. Dual-class super-voting protects founder control.
The trigger moment
April 2026 FOX5 Las Vegas reported Nevada autism families paying $80+ per hour out of pocket for therapy state coverage was supposed to provide. Autism Acceptance World was already in development; the segment crystallized the public mandate.
